Ya Sabes Más De Lo Que Piensas

La investigación del ADN demuestra cuán acertados estaban nuestros antepasados sobre la presencia de, pues, nuestros antepasados. Están vivos y movidos dentro nuestra sangre, afectando nuestra caminata por la Tierra más de lo que sabemos.

El alcoholismo, el abuso físico y mental, la pobreza, así como la creatividad, los dones curativos y las creencias – todos viven en nuestra sangre e influyen en nuestras vidas. No importa en qué estemos trabajando, en qué curación, enseñanza o ceremonia estemos involucrados, la sangre siempre figura en el cuento.

Un amigo me preguntó si hacíamos “curación ancestral” en nuestro altar. Le expliqué que “curamos la sangre” diariamente, continuamente, así que de esa manera, sí, hacemos curación ancestral todo el tiempo. Su pregunta nos agradó, sin duda, pero también nos alertó sobre cuánta curación ancestral y otra información relacionada con el alma se está generalizando, bajo las banderas de la ciencia y la espiritualidad.

En otras palabras, si el tema de los antepasados te llama, el conocimiento está disponible en varios formatos y modelos para tu conveniencia. La ciencia del ADN es un factor poderoso para despertar nuestro potencial, pero uno no necesita ser un científico, o contratar a un sacerdote, para llegar a nuestros antepasados. Tus antepasados están ahí, en tu sangre, disponibles para tu reflexión, exactamente 24 horas-7 días.

Además de eso, cada uno de nosotros, de todas las razas, tenemos formas de honrar a los muertos a través de nuestras propias líneas de sangre, ya sea que la familia lo esté practicando ahora o no. Simplemente pregúntale a uno viejo u observa un funeral en tu comunidad. No tienes que saber acerca de los cromosomas x e y para trabajar en tu ADN. 

Cuando los vivos y los muertos fluyen como deben, todos se benefician. Un poco de atención a nuestros antepasados puede marcar una gran diferencia. El aro ancestral que encuentra su ritmo florece, fuerte y brillante en la vida y la muerte: buen objetivo, no?

Y tu, siendo parte de un linaje, y estando vivo, puedes contribuir a ese florecimiento. El conocimiento, justo, ahí esta, en la punta de los dedos, en la punta de la lengua…tus antepasados.

You Already Know More Than You Think

DNA research proves how right our ancestors were about the actual presence of, well, our ancestors. They are alive and well in our blood, affecting our Earthwalk more than we know.

Alcoholism, physical and mental abuse, poverty, as well as, creativity, healing gifts and long-term beliefs, all live in our blood and influence our lives. No matter what we’re working on, what healing, teaching or ceremony we are involved with, healing the blood always figures into it.

A friend asked me if we did “ancestral healing” at our altar. I explained we “heal the blood” daily, continuously, so in that way, yes, we do ancestral healing all the time. Her question pleased us, no doubt, but it also alerted us to how much ancestral healing, and other soul-related information, is going mainstream, under the banners of both science and spirituality.

In other words, if the topic of ancestors is calling, knowledge is available in several formats and models for your convenience. DNA Science is a powerful factor in awakening our potential, but one doesn’t need to be a scientist, or hire a priest, to reach our ancestors. Your ancestors are right there, in your blood, available for your reflection, exactly 24-7.

Besides that, every one of us, of every race, have ways to honor the dead through our own bloodlines, whether the family is practicing the customs now or not. Just ask an old one, or observe a funeral from your community. You don’t have to know about x and y chromosomes to work on your DNA.  

When the living and the dead flow as they should, everyone benefits. A little attention to our ancestors can make a difference. The Ancestral Hoop that finds its rhythm flourishes, strong and bright – the goal of all bloodlines – in both life and death. And it’s right there, on your finger tips, on the tip of your tongue…ancestors.

LA TRISTEZA DEL ARO SAGRADO, Parte 1

Una Realidad Que Ignoramos

Fue unas horas después de su muerte que Leonard apareció en mi garaje, donde estoy de luto como nunca lo había sentido.

Aparece Leonard como lo conocí la primera vez, en una ceremonia de Peyote en su casa donde ambos observamos un valle oscuro desde el porche de su casa. Hay algo en la oscuridad que emana desde ese pequeño valle, además de todas las estrellas de los cielos navajos.

“Sí”, dice, como si me oye, “Siempre está oscuro, así, por ahí”.

La noche que murió me recordó y me mostró ese pequeño valle oscuro. Esta vez emanaban llamas violetas volando desde la oscuridad hacia el cielo. Vuelos triunfantes de hecho, llamas volando libres.

“Hay que sacarlos de allí, liberarlos”, dice el fantasma de mi hermano. Ambos estamos mirando hacia el valle de nuevo, donde la espesa oscuridad todavía domina.

“¿Te refieres a los que todavía están en la oscuridad?” Pregunté.

Antes de desaparecer dice: “Están reteniendo a los vivos”.

En esencia Leonard vino a decirme que el Aro Ancestral está obstruido por los muertos que no se van. El oír eso de un Curandero Navajo es algo especial.

En las comunidades donde las historias de antepasados y muertos están en la vida cotidiana, un evento como el anterior recuerda a los miembros de la comunidad que deben cuidar a sus difuntos.  Las “visitas” de los muertos recientes, los eventos y prácticas de duelo, las celebraciones por los muertos, las peticiones de y para los difuntos, y todo tipo de luces, velas y ofrendas, hacen mucho más que agitar el sentimentalismo espiritual.  

En este altar, como en muchos, los antepasados están en todo lo que hacemos: curaciones, meditaciones, enseñanzas, todo. Nuestros difuntos pueden ser el evento principal o una adición a cualquier evento, o los antepasados simplemente pueden ser nombrados y honrados. Los antepasados forman un aro con nosotros, los vivos, y a veces las almas permanecen en el aro demasiado.

Esto resulta en la necesidad de una curación constante de la sangre.  La mayoría de las veces, los antepasados son la clave para sanar o proporcionar respuestas, y de alguna manera, la clave del poder necesario para enfrentar la situación.

Aquellos de nosotros que tenemos a los antepasados en nuestro vocabulario, escuchamos juicios sobre la funcionalidad de venerar a nuestros antepasados, como que acusarnos de vivir en el pasado, tratando de aferrarnos a tradiciones huecas y vacías. En las últimas dos o tres décadas, sin embargo, ha sido la ciencia la que vino a validar nuestras tradiciones, a validar la verdad de nuestra herencia de sangre, la realidad que nuestros antepasados murieron para defender y transmitir.  Estén atentos: La Parte 2 de La Tristeza Del Aro Sagrado llega la próxima semana con sugerencias sobre lo que podrías hacer.

A Reality We Sometimes Ignore

It was a few hours after he died that Leonard showed up in my garage where I’m mourning him like I’d never mourned anyone before.

He appears as I first met him, at a Peyote ceremony at his home where we both find ourselves looking south of the family hogan, into a dark valley. There’s something, some substance, to the darkness that emanates from that little valley, besides all the stars in the Navajo skies.

“Yeah,” he says, like he hears me thinking, “It’s always dark out there.”

The night he died he showed me that dark little valley again. This time, though, violet flames are flying out of the dark into the night sky. Triumphant flights indeed, flames flying free.

“You have to get them out of there, free them,” says my brother’s ghost. We are both looking toward the valley again, where the thick darkness still talks.

“You mean the ones still in the dark?” I ask.

Before he disappears from my garage he answers, “They’re holding back the living.”

Then I broke down.

In essence Leonard came to tell me the Ancestral Hoop is clogged.  

In communities where stories of ancestors and the dead are in the daily fare, the event above reminds community members they need to look after the departed.  Sightings of the recent dead, mourning events and practices, celebrations for the dead, petitions from and for our dead, and all kinds of lights, candles and offerings – trust us ­– do much more than stir up spiritual sentimentalism.  

At this altar, as at many, the ancestors are in everything we do – healings, meditations, teachings – all of it. Our departed can be the main event or an addition to any event, or the ancestors can simply be named and honored. The ancestors form a hoop with us living and sometimes souls stay in the hoop too long.

This results in the need for a constant healing of the blood. More times than not, ancestors are the key to healing or providing answers, and in some ways, the key to the power needed to confront the situation.

Those of us who have the ancestors in our vocabulary hear judgments about the functionality of revering our ancestors, about us living in the past, trying to hold on to hollow, empty traditions. In the last two or three decades, however, it’s been science that came to validate our traditions, to validate the truth of our blood inheritance, the reality our ancestors died to defend and pass on. DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS

El Año Nuevo De Los Muertos

El Día de los Muertos es nuestra observación religiosa del año. Nuestra atención a los antepasados y la realidad de la muerte energiza el altar y nuestra vida: en la curación, la protección, la bendición y la enseñanza.

La ceremonia y celebración del Día de los Muertos, 1 y 2 de noviembre es un gran evento cultural, eterno y vivo. Y aunque ocurre alguna celebración, no es fiesta. Tampoco es una superstición, pero imagino como estás leyendo esto, es posible que ya lo sepas.

Los orígenes genealógicos mexicanos de la ceremonia son antiguos y, de alguna manera, se conectan con todas las poblaciones indígenas de México. Por supuesto, la ceremonia se ofrece en nombre de los muertos por todo el mundo, en todas las culturas y entre todos los colores de gente.

DAY OF THE DEAD

New Year’s For The Dead

The Day of the Dead is our primary religious observation of the year, but more to the point, our attention to ancestors and the reality of death energizes the altar and our life: in healing, protection, blessing and teaching.

The ceremony and celebration of Día de los Muertos, November 1 & 2 is a major cultural event, ageless and alive. And while some “celebration” occurs, it’s no party. Nor is it a superstition, but I imagine, since you’re reading this, you might know that already. 

The Mexican genealogical origins of the ceremony are ancient and, in some way, connect to all indigenous populations of Mexico. Of course,  ceremony is offered on behalf of the dead all over the world, in all cultures and colors.

Give your ancestors a nod this November. It’ll help you and them. If you’re paying attention to the toltec way in our articles, the Day of the Dead comes under the Toltec Principles of Death and Ancestors.

ALMAS PERDIDAS, Parte 2

Eliminar Un Alma Perdida De Un Vivo

Una de las llamadas más comunes que recibimos es una solicitud para eliminar la energía de la muerte de un ser vivo. En este caso, el alma perdida, el muerto, ha recibido orden de manipular un alma viviente. Ten en cuenta que esto no es posesión.  Se podría decir que los muertos han tomado territorio en el aura del alma viviente: para mirar, confundir, manipular.  

Este territorio tomado está compuesto principalmente por emociones, lo cual es lo que las energías malignas buscan comer. La mayoría del tiempo el alma muerta no está allí por elección, o porque tiene algo en tu contra. Más bien son seres vivos con intenciones malignas y más conocimientos que los perdidos que causan el problema.

Dado que las almas son una gran parte de nuestra vocación, trabajamos con ellos todo el año, constantemente honrando, buscando y ayudando a los antepasados, ayudando a las almas perdidas donde podemos. El año ancestral comienza y termina en el Día de los Muertos, el 2 de noviembre.  Teniendo en cuenta que muchos muertos están, en muchos sentidos, todavía en la Tierra, el tiempo puede tener algún significado para ellos.

Quitar un alma perdida de un humano vivo implica, desde el punto de vista de este altar, un toque de compasión por ambas almas involucradas. El truco es aplicar la compasión con suficiente desapego para que las partes involucradas no se sacudan más. Este toque de “compasión” debe compararse con una inspiración inesperada. Algo dentro de nosotros se levanta que nos motiva a ayudar, simplemente porque nos importa, o queremos quitar el muerto por la pura alegría de hacerlo.

Una vez que la inspiración está allí, se necesita una cierta cantidad vista espiritual, la capacidad de ver dentro ese mundo, para localizar el muerto. Por supuesto, debes saber un poco sobre quién colocó el muerto, para saber si hay suficiente poder para hacer el trabajo y si estás protegido o no del inevitable retroceso que recibirás. Naturalmente, es importante saber acerca de la autoridad humana sobre los espíritus y cómo usar esa autoridad. Una vez que estés listo, querrás atacar en el momento adecuado. Por lo general, el trabajo real toma de 3 a 5 minutos de esfuerzo concentrado. Es llegar a esos tres minutos lo que presenta un desafío.

En otras palabras, por Dios, saber lo que estás haciendo.  Hacer tu tarea, encontrar ayuda, brindar tu protección. Deja que tus instintos humanos guíen tus pasiones. En cierto modo, estoy diciendo: “No intentes esto en casa”, pero los humanos tenemos habilidades y derechos que debemos usar. Sera un talento evolucionando, o posiblemente un talento que regresa a nosotros.

Eres un espíritu y tienes un cuerpo. Estás mejor equipado que solo un espíritu, al menos bajo las reglas de la Tierra. Pero ten cuidado y haz tu tarea primero.

Removing a Lost Soul From the Living

 

One of the most common calls we get is a request to remove the energy of death from a living being. In this case the lost soul, el muerto, has been ordered to manipulate a living soul in some way. Note, this is not possession. You could say the dead has taken territory in the living soul’s aura – to watch, to confuse, to manipulate.  

This taken territory is composed mainly of emotions, which is what malignant energies seek to eat. Ninety-nine percent of the time the dead soul is not there by choice, or because it has anything against you, rather it’s living beings with malignant intentions and more conscious awareness than the lost.

 

Since souls are a large part of our vocation, we work with them all year, constantly honoring, seeking and assisting ancestors, aiding lost souls where we can. The ancestral year both begins and ends on Día De Los Muertos, Nov 2. Considering many dead are, in many ways, still on the Earth, time may have some meaning for them.

Removing a lost soul from a live human involves, from this altar’s point of view, a touch of compassion for both souls involved. The trick is to apply the compassion with enough detachment that the parties involved don’t get more rattled. This “compassion” can be compared to an unsought inspiration. Something within us rises that motivates us to help, simply because we care, or because we want to remove the muerto for the sheer joy of it.

Once the inspiration is there a certain amount of the “sight,” the ability to see in the spirit world, is needed to locate the spirit. Of course, one should know a little about who placed the muerto, in order to know if there is enough power to do the job and whether or not you’re protected from the inevitable pushback you’ll receive. Naturally it’s important to know about human authority over spirits and how to use that authority. Once you’re ready, you want to strike at the right time. Usually, the actual work takes 3-5 minutes of concentrated effort. It’s getting to those three minutes that presents a challenge.

In other words, for goodness sake, know what you are doing. Do your homework, find help, provide for your protection. Let your human instincts guide your passions. In a way I’m saying, “Don’t try this at home,” but humans have abilities and the rights to use them. We believe spirit work is an evolving talent, or possibly a talent returning to us.

You are a spirit and you have a body. You’re better equipped than just a spirit, at least under Earth rules. But be careful and do your homework first.

Información Crítica Que Tendemos A Olvidar

Cuando un humano muere y no lo sabe, esa alma humana se pierde. Habrá excepciones a eso, naturalmente, pero sobre todo es tan simple como eso. Las almas humanas perdidas son demasiado comunes en el Mundo de los Espíritus. No es algo bueno para ellos, y de alguna manera, peor para nosotros, los vivos.

Cuando se trata de los ciudadanos más negativos del Mundo de los Espíritus – sea, los malditos, los depredadores de varios tipos, demonios, fantasmas, energías oscuras, diversos males – nuestra primera pregunta, es si hay almas humanas, o no, en la mezcla. Las almas perdidas son los peones y los premios en los eventos agitados por esas energías negativas.


En otras palabras, muchos eventos oscuros en el mundo espiritual involucran el uso y abuso de almas humanas perdidas. La mayoría de nosotros hemos escuchado, o posiblemente contado, una historia sobre una persona que muere inesperadamente, tal vez en un accidente o un homicidio, o simplemente, demasiado joven para morir. Estas tragedias causan una gran conmoción entre los vivos, y lo mismo sucede en el mundo de los espíritus.

La muerte inesperada presenta un desafío para nuestra alma. Como no lo esperamos, no nos preparamos. En el momento de la muerte, es posible que no seamos conscientes de lo que acaba de suceder.  ¿Cuáles son las elecciones de un alma en ese momento?  En su mayor parte, tenemos dos grandes opciones, aunque nunca es tan simple.

Primero, podemos elegir lo que llamamos la Luz.  Cuando un alma toma esta ruta, va con antepasados y / o ángeles a un camino seguro, a una revisión de la vida, preparándose así para el siguiente paso en el largo viaje de nuestras almas.

En segundo lugar, podemos seguir la conciencia con la que morimos y seguir sin el beneficio de la Luz.  Fuera de esa guía, las almas se convierten fácilmente en víctimas de los espíritus mas experimentados en la vida espiritual, así como víctimas de los practicantes vivos que atrapan a las almas para hacer su propio mal, en el mundo viviente.

LOST SOULS, Part 1

Critical Information We Tend To Forget

When a human dies and doesn’t know it, that human soul is lost. There will be exceptions to that, naturally, but mostly it’s simple as that. Lost human souls are way-too-common in the Spirit World. Not a good thing for them, and in some ways, even worse for us.

When dealing with the more negative citizens of the Spirit World – the cursed, predators of various sorts, demons, ghosts, dark energies, sundry evil – our first question, is whether or not any lost human souls are in the mix. Lost human souls are the pawns and the prizes in the events stirred by those negative energies.

In other words, many dark events in the spirit world involve the use and abuse of lost human souls.  Most of us, in the living of our lives, have heard, or possibly told, a story about a person who dies unexpectedly, perhaps in an accident or a homicide, or simply, too young to die. These tragedies cause high commotion among the living, and the same happens in the spirit world.

Unexpected death presents a challenge for our soul. Since we aren’t expecting it, we’re not prepared. At the moment of death, it’s possible our conscious awareness is simply not conscious of what just happened. What are a soul’s choices at that moment? For the most part we have two big choices, although it’s never that simple.

First, we can choose what most call the Light. When a soul takes this route, she goes with ancestors and/or other helping spirits to a safe place, for an afterlife review, thus preparing for the next step in the long journey of our souls.

Or second, we can follow the consciousness we died with, without the benefit of the Light. Without guidance souls easily become victim to spirits much better at spirit life than recently dead humans, as well as victim to living practitioners who entrap souls to do their own evil, back in the living world.In our next post, Lost Souls, Part 2, we’ll talk about removing a lost soul that attaches to a living being.
